For the 5th consecutive year, the Virtual Advanced Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship 3D Sim Dissection Course will take place on Aug 23, 2025, with the enthusiastic support of ASPO. Last year, 48 fellows attended (38 U.S. fellows and 10 international fellows from across Africa and Jamaica), with 14 Expert Pediatric Otolaryngologists as Course Instructors (including one international instructor).  The team is excited to announce that this year, 14 Facial Plastic Surgery fellows will join together, making this course not only International but also Interdisciplinary!

The course consists of four surgical simulation scenarios: cleft lip repair, cleft palate repair, microtia framework rib carving, and laryngotracheal reconstruction with airway graft carving. Each module is roughly 45 minutes and includes a pre- and post-survey. This virtual dissection course allows beginning fellows to kick off an exciting year of learning with a bolus of valuable, hands-on experience.
